Storefront Mastery · Pricing schedule 2026–2027

Make downtowns worth the trip.

Storefront Mastery is a downtown experience strategy practice. We work with special improvement districts, BIDs, Main Street programs, and municipalities to give people more reasons to visit a downtown, stay longer, and come back.

The work sits where the single business meets the district: storefronts, customer experience, business clusters, and the rules that govern what owners can build. We diagnose the street, find the few moves with the most leverage, and carry them toward visible change. Founded in 2019 by architect and urbanist Jaime J. Izurieta, based in Montclair, New Jersey.

This page lists what every service costs, so you can plan a budget, compare options, and bring a number to your board before we talk. Every price is fixed. Nothing is billed by the hour unless you ask for advisory time. For projects, writing, and books, visit storefrontmastery.com.

01 · How pricing works

Start small. Every first step counts toward the next.

This page covers four kinds of work: the Flagship Program for districts, Storefront Accelerators for individual businesses, code reform for municipalities, and facilitation and advice. Every price is fixed and listed here.

Flagship ProgramFor districts

  1. Tier 1 · Align$1,500
  2. Tier 2 · Diagnose$7,900
  3. Tier 3 · Transform$14,950

Code reformFor municipalities

  1. Code Friction Audit$2,450
  2. Retail Design Code Refresh$16,950

Storefront AcceleratorFor businesses

  1. Per storefront, by batch sizefrom $2,950

The logic is the same on every track. The first step is small enough to approve quickly, and it shows you what the larger step would fix. If you continue within six months, its full fee comes off the next step, so you never pay twice for the same ground. Accelerators work on their own or as the follow-on to the Flagship Program, for the storefronts its scorecards flag.

02 · The Flagship Program: Storefront Transformation

Three tiers. One price for every district.

Each tier includes everything in the one before it. Prices cover corridors of up to 80 ground-floor storefronts; larger districts are quoted on request.

Tier 1 · Align

Alignment Workshop

$1,500

  • Two-hour working session for owners, staff, and board
  • Shared vision, the missing customer, reasons to visit, neighbors as partners
  • One-page summary of a joint pilot with roles, a date, and a measure of success
  • Virtual option, $1,250

Full fee credited toward Tier 2 or Tier 3 within 6 months.

Tier 2 · Diagnose

Workshop, corridor, and storefronts

$7,900

  • Corridor Vital Signs: the whole corridor scored across five dimensions and 20 measures, each traced to its evidence
  • 10 Storefront Performance Scorecards, each with a one-page owner report
  • Alignment Workshop built on your own findings
  • Findings presentation to staff or board

Full fee credited toward Tier 3 within 12 months.

Tier 3 · Transform

Diagnosis plus strategy

$14,950

  • Everything in Tier 2
  • Idea Factory report: five strategies, each with the issue, the winning asset, the big idea, a toolkit, an action plan, and a quick win
  • Strategy presentation to stakeholders

Leads into Storefront Accelerators for the businesses the scorecards flag.

For New Jersey municipal payers: Tier 1 sits under the $2,625 quote threshold, Tier 2 under the $7,950 quote threshold for towns with a Qualified Purchasing Agent, and Tier 3 under the $17,500 pay-to-play threshold. Confirm thresholds with your purchasing agent.

03 · More services

For businesses, codes, and conversations.

Prices apply within 75 minutes' drive of Montclair, New Jersey. Travel beyond that is listed under terms.
